How will automatic chicken doors make your life easier? Read the following customer review:
“We also have programmed it (auto door) to open/close by sunrise/sunset at our location…operates flawlessly…even in our -30˚ F. temperatures…it was painlessly easy to install, program, and operate. Our chickens love it…and so do we since we no longer have to trudge through fresh snow at sunup each morning!”
What are we talking about? An Automatic chicken coop door. An automatic chicken door opens automatically at a set time in the morning and closes at a set time in the evening.
Why Do You Need a Chicken Coop Auto Door?
Why should I have one? The truth is you don’t NEED one. You can get through without it. However, without one, you have to go outside every morning at sunrise- whether rain, hail, sleet, snow, or hot sun- to open your chicken coop door to allow your chickens to go outside.
You then have to go out in the evening, when you could be doing something else- catching up on housework or making some extra money on your side job- to close the chicken coop door.
So, to answer the question, “Do I need an automatic chicken door?” the answer is no, but think how much more you could get done if you had one—a necessary accessory for your chicken coop. Having an automatic door for your chicken coop will allow you to stay in bed for those extra minutes or spend some more time with your family.
What are some benefits of an automatic chicken coop door? We are so glad you asked. There are many benefits to getting an automatic chicken door for your coop, but the one that sticks out is forgetfulness.
How many times have you forgotten to open the door in the morning or left it open at night opening the chance for foxes or a predator to get into your chicken coop? An automatic door on your chicken coop will open every morning and close every evening letting you focus on more important things.
Also, did you ever find yourself with just not enough time to take care of the chicken coop? You’ve overslept, and now you are late for work, or going somewhere important- AH! What about the chickens?
An auto door for your chicken coop has you covered. Whether you oversleep or are late for something, the door will automatically open in the morning to leave your chickens out and close to keep your hens safe in the evening.
Who Are the Automatic Chicken Coop Doors For?
The automatic chicken coop doors are for people like you. Do you have an A-Frame chicken coop or some other type of coop? Maybe even multiple chicken coops? This automatic door was designed for you.
The auto door is designed for large and small chicken coops and everything in between. The engineers of this product have spent a lot of time testing other chicken coop automatic doors but felt that the market lacked a heavy-duty, built-to-last automatic door.
They have invested a lot of time to bring the best door for wooden chicken coops to the market and specifically to you. Let’s look a little closer at some of the technical details of the automatic door.
“We have programmed our unit to stay open for 4 minutes before closing permanently for the night on the second chance. We also programmed it to open/close by sunrise/sunset at our location, with an offset for the ridges east and west of us. It has operated flawlessly since installation and programming, even in our down to 30 degrees below zero F temperatures. It was painlessly easy to install, program, and operate. Our chickens love it…and so do we since we no longer have to trudge through fresh snow at sunup each morning!” ~Tom W.
